Fertility Journey and Pregnancy Announcement

Some sessions really touch my heart, this was one of those sessions.

A beautiful couple, who have been on an incredible fertility journey, invited me into their world for a moment—to capture the arrival of their long-awaited baby boy. Their journey to parenthood has been marked by bravery, strength and grief.

In a beautiful cosy cottage, we spent the morning capturing their gorgeous family memories. Something I know they have longed for, and the session was nothing but magic. Mum and dad and little bubs snuggled together, surrounded by nothing but love.

As someone who has faced my own struggles with fertility and loss, I felt deeply connected to their story. I know the ache of waiting, the quiet grief of what could have been, and the immeasurable joy of finally holding your baby close.

There is something indescribably special about capturing these moments for families who have been through so much. It is more than just a photo shoot—it is a celebration of love, of hope fulfilled, and of the strength it takes to keep believing in the dream of parenthood.

Photographing them felt like an honour beyond words. To witness their love, to freeze these fleeting moments in time, to give them something tangible to hold onto forever—it is why I do what I do.

To every family on this journey to parenthood, we see you. We feel you. And we celebrate with you. Your journey matters. Your story is beautiful. And your love is the most incredible thing to capture.
